I’ve always had a great deal of respect for Andrew McMahon. I grew up listening to Something Corporate and the rest of the Drive-Thru roster. In 2005, when he was diagnosed with Leukemia (at 22 years of age), I remember trying to find anything I could about it online to educate myself and keep up-to-date with what was happening with Andrew. Dear Jack: The Journey of Andrew McMahon was a great documentary about the birth of the side-project Jack’s Mannequin and Andrew’s diagnosis, treatment & recovery from Leukemia. I recommend it to anyone who feels like walking away from a 67 minute film appreciating the life they’ve been blessed with a little more. Fun fact: The entire documentary is narrated by Tommy Lee.
